Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology – is a diploma level Radiography programme. Radiography involves the study of a medical subfield which diagnoses the ailment and diseases of the internal and hidden parts of the body using X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, Angiography etc. Course covers the study of both diagnostic and therapeutic radiography which involves the treatment of cancers and tumors with radiations. It includes the study of subjects and topics such as clinical radiotherapy, clinical chemotherapy, radiobiology, clinical trials, palliative care etc.
- Must have completed 17 years of age
- Must have passed +2 Science or Equivalent examinations with Biology as one of the subjects
- The candidate should not pursue any other regular course simultaneously with the DMLT / DMRT course if admitted. An undertaking should be submitted during admission
